It was so amazing to be able to bring Beidou to life for Hoyoverse! Especially since Genshin Impact is one of my personal favorite games! 🎉

This was a super intense project and I’m really happy everything went well! We had 6 weeks to create this costume for gamescom 2022. Especially sewing is definitely not one of my strong points! Thanks so much to everyone for following this project, and also to the people who helped me along the way like Bakka Cosplay who made the wig, Denise Winter who made the vision, The Dangerous Ladies for the accessory 3D files, TheBrunenG for the Model of the 3D sword, BlackMaskedFox for the photo editing and my lovely husband Benni, who put so much work into creating my amazing sword and edited and uploaded all the making-of videos!

I hope you enjoyed this journey! I hope I’m able to honor the Captain of the Crux! ❤️😁

I always love to work with mobile game developers as many of their games often have amazingly designed heroes. I also always wanted to build a functional bow! So when Empires&Puzzles reached out to us to create something from their game, I took the chance and decided to make Athena’s bow!
